Kolkata, West Bengal
Fort Fit Foods, a pioneering brand in West Bengal’s food processing industry, has launched its flagship products—Super Rice and Fortified Atta—to address the state’s pressing malnutrition challenges.

The event marked a significant milestone in public health nutrition, with dignitaries including Mr. Manoj Agarwal, Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal, applauding the initiative. Fort Fit Foods is the first company in West Bengal to introduce such fortified staples, aiming to bridge the nutritional gap across the region.
This initiative goes beyond product innovation. By promoting food fortification and encouraging other millers to adopt similar practices, Fort Fit Foods envisions a broader shift towards better community health. The company is also committed to raising consumer awareness, enabling people to make informed, health-forward choices.
“Fortification is not just a scientific concept; it’s an act of humanity. Nutrition is a fundamental right,” said Rahat, Founder of Fort Fit Foods. “This launch is a reflection of our mission to improve public health through innovation.”
The project was supported by Millers for Nutrition, a strategic initiative powered by TechnoServe, offering essential guidance and insights for a successful rollout.
