The Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) and the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Salt Lake Silicon Valley and SMART Society, USA, hosted the Global Excellence Award 2024. The event, held at the National University of Singapore (NUS), recognised the outstanding contributions of esteemed scientists, professors, CEOs, founders, CTOs, and social service activists.
The Global Excellence Award 2024 honoured 15 individuals for their remarkable achievements and contributions in various fields. The recipients, selected for their dedication and impact, included leading figures from academia, industry, and social services.
The award ceremony provided a platform for the honorees to share their success stories and insights for achieving excellence. These narratives offered invaluable insights into the paths they took to achieve excellence, the challenges they faced, and the determination required to overcome obstacles. The students of the IEM-UEM Group gained inspiration and practical advice on how to navigate their own careers and contribute meaningfully to society.
Among the 15 recipients were renowned scientists, influential professors, innovative CEOs, pioneering founders, visionary CTOs, and dedicated social service activists. Alex Ng, CCISO, Director at Insyghts Security; Dr. Tan Kian Hua, Chief Information Security Officer at LPS, Associate Professor of AI, ML, and Cybersecurity, LIGS University; Adrian Yeap, CEO, Yeap Transport Pte Ltd, and others were present. Their diverse backgrounds and significant achievements highlighted the breadth of excellence and innovation celebrated at the event.
