Kolkata, 13 October 2025: The 19th edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival returns to the Pink City from 15–19 January 2026 at Hotel Clarks Amer. Recognised globally as the “greatest literary show on earth,” the Festival—presented by Vedanta and produced by Teamwork Arts—brings together writers, thinkers, artists, and readers from around the world.

This year’s programme will feature over 350 speakers across six venues, spanning fiction, poetry, history, science, climate action, business, geopolitics, gender, cinema, race, identity, and more, while celebrating linguistic and cultural diversity.
The first list of speakers includes luminaries such as Timothy Berners-Lee, Olga Tokarczuk, Stephen Fry, Jung Chang, Kate Mosse, Anand Neelakantan, Shobhaa Dé, Vishwanathan Anand, and many more ranging from Nobel and Booker winners to historians, cultural experts, and sports icons.
Festival Co-Director Namita Gokhale said JLF 2026 would be “a vintage edition” with sessions traversing “cultures, continents, and the diversity of Indian languages.” Co-Director William Dalrymple called it “a celebration of stories and literature that will ignite ideas across writing and reading.” Sanjoy K. Roy, Managing Director of Teamwork Arts, said the Festival “is more than a cultural event—it’s a global movement inspiring empathy and understanding.”
Alongside its core programme, JLF hosts the 13th Jaipur BookMark, a leading B2B platform for global publishing professionals; a signature evening at Amer Fort; and the Jaipur Music Stage, featuring top Indian and international performances.
For nearly two decades, the Jaipur Literature Festival has remained a democratic space for dialogue, intellectual exploration, and cultural exchange.
