Samir Das’s movie Saajbadal music recording by Surijit Chatterjee

An upcoming bengali flick ‘Saajbadal’ based on a true events is being directed by Samir Das Bairagi produced under the banner of RP film works and SBF entertainment.

Kharaj Mukhopadhyay, Buddhadeb Bhattacharya and Minasree Sarkar are on pivotal roles. Amritendu Kar, Debasish Ganguly, Soumen Jana and Subhobrata Banerjee also shared the screen.

Story is written by director itself whereas screenplay and dialouge is written by Abhijit Roy.. Cinematography is done by Rafikul Islam.
Music has been composed by Arijit Nath and lyrics are penned down by Diptesh Das
Surojit Chatterjee, Saheli Chakroborty and Rana Pramanik lent their voice.

One night two girls from village were returning home from a programme, they were grabbed by a Village’s Pradhan’s son and his friends, they forcefully takes her inside the jungle. There they molest her, one of the guy hit her so badly that she goes unconscious. When she regains her consciousness she rushes back to village and seeks for help. The girl was survived by her one and only grandfather. In the meantime culprits fleed away from village as the guy has his father’s support who was also politically strong. After the incident the villagers give them suggestions. Police comes and verifies the case but didnt give the importance to the case and the avoid the girl. Since she didn’t get the justice and support from police she goes on hunger strike with her grandfather.

Will she gets a justice? Will the villagers support her? Will the culprit get caught?
