Session Kolkata, 27th June, 2024 – Techno India University, West Bengal announced the launch of two innovative undergraduate programs: BBA (H) with a specialization in Business Analytics and BCA (H) with a specialization in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence. These four-year degree programs are being introduced in collaboration with IBM and will commence in the 2024 academic session.

These programs are designed to equip students with cutting-edge skills and knowledge in
their respective fields, supported by IBM’s extensive industry expertise. Each semester, students will have the opportunity to undertake certification courses taught by industry experts from IBM. The curriculum includes a capstone project in the final semester, providing real-world industry exposure through projects facilitated by IBM.
In addition to the rigorous academic curriculum, students will have access to a software lab powered by IBM software which will be established on the university campus. This facility will serve as a hub for innovation and practical learning, allowing students to work with the latest technologies and tools in business analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence. To further enhance their learning experience, students will have the chance to participate in hackathons and various other activities organized by IBM at regular intervals. These events will foster creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Students will also have the opportunity to visit IBM facilities and earn digital badges and certifications every semester, showcasing their skills and achievements.
