Inauguration of UNSED Foundation Held on Mother’s DayThakurganj:
On Sunday, on the occasion of Mother’s Day, UNSED Foundation was inaugurated at Balubari Chowk under Galgalia Panchayat in Thakurganj block. The program was inaugurated by Mukhiya representative Brijmohan Singh alias Munna and an officer of the SSB 41st Battalion by cutting the ribbon.After the inauguration, Mother’s Day was celebrated by cutting a cake with the women present. A large number of local women, youth, and distinguished persons were present at the event. During the program, office bearers of the organization shared information about the foundation’s objectives and upcoming plans.On behalf of the organization, it was stated that UNSED Foundation will provide free sewing training to make women of the region self-reliant.

Efforts will be made to link rural and needy women, in particular, with self-employment by providing them training.In addition, the foundation announced that it will organize a free health camp every month for women laborers working in tea gardens and for labor families. The health camp will provide general check-ups, consultation, and necessary medicines.The organization also said it will work toward providing employment opportunities for youth. Representatives of the foundation said that efforts will be made to get eligible youth jobs in companies like Tata Motors and that necessary guidance will also be provided to them.Addressing the program, Directors Mr Shiv Kumar and Mr Arnab Mandal said that the aim of the organization is to uplift the weaker and needy sections of society. He said the organization will continue to work in the fields of education, health, women’s empowerment, and employment. People present on the occasion appreciated the initiative of the organization and called it a positive step for the region.
