As part of an ambitious expansion plan across India, Supreem Pharmaceuticals Mysore Pvt. Ltd. today introduced Supreem Superfoods, a healthy superfoods brand, in Kolkata. Already available in Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Pune, Mumbai, Goa, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Chennai, the launch in Kolkata further widens the brand’s pan-Indian breadth.
The brand unveiled 50 plus products under two verticals, Normalife and Normahealth, in the presence of Mr. Haroon Badusha, Head of Brand Marketing at The Press Club, Kolkata.
In Kolkata, the brand will be available in all leading retail outlets, Franchisee outlets, and Supreem Superfoods Neighborhood Stores, serving the FMCG, Pharma, Horeca, Institutions, and E-commerce platforms. Supreem Super Foods aims to expand its product range to over 100 by the end of the year 2023.
The brand has recorded remarkable growth since it was launched in Bengaluru in November 2021, which is evident from its prominent presence in select GT stores, National Modern Trade Outlets, Regional Modern Trade outlets, Pharma Modern Trade outlets, and E-Commerce across India.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Haroon Badusha, Head of Brand Marketing, at Supreem Superfoods, said, “After servicing the nutraceuticals B2B industry for more than 35 years, we are now serving the end user with the same zeal and integrity. In order to bridge the gap in nutritional consumption and to improve healthy living, Supreem Pharma is entering the superfoods industry. The business has conducted an in-depth study into the field of food science and developed solutions to help close the gap. By doing so, it hopes to create a community where people can relate to happiness and health, enhancing both physical and mental wellness.

We hope to be present across 500 plus stores in the Kolkata region over the next one year through select General Trade, all FMCG Modern Trade, and all Pharma Modern Trade outlets. We also aspire to enter Jaipur, where the preparations for the launch are in full swing. We have a magnanimous plan to sample 3 lakh households in Kolkata before the end of the year 2023. With this launch, we have covered all four Major Metro Cities and 4 Mini Metro Cities this year.”
The brand was recently launched in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Chennai, and Goa where it aims to be present in 10,000 plus outlets by the end of 2023.
In the B2B business, Supreem Pharmaceuticals Mysore Pvt. Ltd. registered a turnover of Rs. 77 crores in the last financial year. The CAGR has been over 20% over the past 5 years. With the launch of its Consumer Products Division Supreem Super Foods, the company hopes to achieve a combined turnover of around Rs. 90-Rs. 100 crores in the current financial year. Supreem Pharmaceuticals is investing over Rs. 25 crores over the next 5 years to build the consumer business to achieve a CAGR of over 30% during that period. This would drive the company to reach a combined turnover of Rs. 250+ crore, with both divisions providing approximately equally to the business.
