The iconic Peerless Inn, Kolkata, has been stunningly reimagined and launched as Peerless Hotel, Kolkata.
Peerless Hotel, Kolkata, is a 168-room hotel located in the heart of the historic area of Kolkata.
The third and fourth floors of the hotel are being launched as Club Eminence, with 32 stunning rooms and suites which are a visual treat, done up with pleasant aesthetics. The amenities are top notch and services provided are everything a guest could have asked for. A single point of contact will ensure seamless checking in and checking out of guests, taking care of everything in between, like dining and entertainment arrangements. 24×7 manned one touch dial contact will ensure the guest is never unattended. From placing the preferred newspaper and magazines, fruits and bookmarks, chocolates and petit fours in the room along with a well-stocked minibar, to laundry facilities or taking the guest through his itinerary in the city, there is little more the guest could have asked for. Evening cocktail hours will create indelible memories for the guest along with the best curated meal as per preference.
The lobby has been redone as well and a new lounge is being launched.
Peerless Hotels is part of the 90 years old PGFI. “Peerless Hotels is a 30-year-old group with footprints in Kolkata, Hyderabad, Port Blair, Durgapur and Mukutmanipur. We have around 450 rooms right now and have an ambitious plan of doubling this number over the next 5 years,” said Mr Kuldeep Bhartee, CEO, Peerless Hotels Ltd. “We are in the process upgrading the hotel and looking at scaling up to full four star at the moment—if there is an opportunity, we will explore moving into the five-star category as well,” Bhartee said about his iconic Kolkata property, which also has the oldest Bengali fine dining restaurant, Aaheli, synonymous with authentic Bengali cuisine.
The group is on a transformational journey and the process started with Bhartee taking over as the CEO. “We have started our process of internal consolidation which should take around two years to complete. We are in the process of revamping our other existing properties as well, he added.
